Temple Hopping

This was a weird one. Thats saying a lot considering all the oddities I've adjusted to since arriving. Kanamara Matsuri is a very different festival. I'd try to explain it, but you're better off clicking the link and reading for yourself. There are plenty of festivities, trinkets to buy, and things to laugh at here. Plus, they're donating a large portion of the proceeds to the Tsunami relief. From monkey performances, to a 4 foot steel penis mounted in the ground, they got it all.

Oddly, on the way, we stopped at the wrong temple. Although, there was penis candy for sale, so who knows. But I looked around the whole place for the giant steel penis and scantily clad dressed men but saw nothing. After asking several people, I realized, "Shoot, this is the wrong place.".
