Mammoth ’11 – Part 1

Posted on December 17, 2011

Mammoth Lakes. We managed to plan a trip this winter and packed 20-some-odd-people into a cabin for the week.

My long time dude-guy Pat White, made this super awesome sled-board just for this weekend.

We made our way to Mammoth's annual Festival of Lights (fireworks, parachuting Santa's, etc).

4th Annual Christmas Get-Down

Posted on December 11, 2011

I have a Christmas party every year. I'm not sure what makes me feel so dedicated to Christmas specifically, but around this time I try to go all-out and get as many of my favorite people under one roof. These get-togethers always have an awesome turn out and this year was no exception.

Three beers on tap and a bottle array out of this world.

For the beer nerds.

For the edge nerds.

Daniel played bartender for the night.

Look at these Dad-looking dudes.

It hurts so bad to look at this.

And then came Cody's new tree star.

The annual transition of the stars.

Happy Holidays!

This is my second visit to the Phil Stern Gallery. Although this time I was a little more eager to check out the work because my good-dude David Flores did a collaboration with Mr. Phil Stern himself. Turning several timeless originals into all new works of magic, David attributed to some of Phil's best work, adding a layer of new and reformed complexity. Although nothing is the same as an original, all these reworkings were on an equal parallel.

Phil.

So clean.

David and Marc.

The least cooperative people.

Note: Olivia is browsing the most refined work this gallery has to offer.

After the show, we dropped in on Mary at Babycakes.

On Ice

Today marks my good friend Derek's birthday. He rented out to the ice rink and we partied on the ice for awhile.

Wiener pipe.

I believe I've been friends with Derek for nearly half of my life and I'm glad we've stuck in the same realm all these years. Happy Birthday D-K.

Galco's soda run. From hipsters to grandparents, people love this place. Its a soda emporium with enough options to make everyone happy. I think I learn a new fun-fact every time I visit, today I was informed there are 50 different root beers alone at this store.

I don't know what that thing is, but it made some beautiful melodies.
