Handsome Coffee Roasters. Tonight marks their grand opening party. Pay attention, these guys will be HUGE. Handsome Coffee is composed of several champs in the industry, specifically founded by three individuals with a rich and extensive background in coffee. They care. They care about coffee, they care about their business, and most importantly, they care about what you're drinking. For anyone that hasn't gotten on the craft coffee bandwagon, now might be a good time to check it out. Don't appreciate it because its getting popular, appreciate it because it's unique and bears substantially better quality than conglomerate and generically produced coffee. But really, check them out!

This year's American Riviera Award was awarded to Martin Scorsese. I don't really want to be 'that guy' and go on about his achievements in film. But, he's somewhat of a self made legend. Directing nearly 50 movies, winning roughly 100 various awards, and still going, Mr. Martin Scorsese has offered a lot to modern cinema.

It's the 27th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Over the years the SBIFF has made a big name for itself and grows larger every year. Pulling in unique and rare films, big name actors/actresses, the SBIFF is an impressive event that spans out across two weeks. Tonight is the opening gala.
