Cherry Blossoms
The cherry trees in front of my apartment blossomed today. I look forward to 'Sakura' every year. While it may be a short lived experience and only a couple weeks at best, its nice to admire their beauty while you can. I was probably more excited than the bees hovering around. Its unfortunate these flowers don't stick around for long, I could stare at them for days.

Tonight we celebrated Derek's birthday. Everyone dorked-out and partied hard.

Derek is one of my dearest friends and ever since early childhood he's been one of my most reliable friends to turn to. Anything from sitting around playing video games into the AM, to creating obnoxious film projects in high school, any time spent growing up with this man has been wondrous to say the least. Happy Birthday Derek.
